It’s a shame to admit, but WWE’s roster has been hit with a lot of injuries over the last few months. It goes deeper than the Seth Rollins injury, Cesaro’s, or even John Cena’s.

Most recently, guys like Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio are also having injury woes, and when a roster becomes THIS depleated, typically it’s because of how the talent is used and the overall quality of the how they’re taken care of by WWE.

However, WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin brough up a good point during an interview he did recently with Fox Sport about what is causing all the injuries to WWE talents. His theory is these kind of injuries are unavoidable in WWE’s style of athleticism.

You can watch the full interview right here. Below is what Austin had to say about the injury issues:

“I just think that, when you look at the game of professional football it’s sped up so much more than it used to be. The guys are bigger, faster, stronger, and I think the same kind of goes with WWE. I think the guys and the gals are working harder and faster, and are more athletic than they ever were. So the athletic sequences are so risky.”
