Back in early November, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins suffered a significant knee injury that will continue to keep him out of the ring for six to nine months.

However, it was recently reported that Rollins’ recovery was ahead of schedule, and he would be returning to WWE sooner than expected. As great as that news sounds, there wasn’t a specific date for his return until now.

According to Inquisitir.com, Seth Rollins is confirmed for Summerslam this year. While that’s not breaking news since that was genuinely assumed, we know that there won’t be any setbacks and Rollins will be back on WWE programming by this summer.

The fact is that he won’t be the only one. Cesaro, John Cena, and Randy Orton will all most likely be healed by then and will be a part of Summerslam.

The question is what Rollins will be doing at that event since he has sworn to return and reclaim the WWE Championship that he never actually lost.

The expectation that Roman Reigns will still be WWE Champion by Summerslam, so we WWE could easily book Reigns vs. Rollins for the biggest show of the summer.

However, the possibility for us to finally see Rollins vs. Triple H at Summerslam is another big money match that may be too good to pass up considering the dynamic between them hasn’t resolved either.
