Very recently, you may have heard of Will Ospreay after the match he had with Ricochet during the Super Juniors tournament a few weeks ago that caused quite a stir in the wrestling world.
For your information, Will Ospreay went on to win the Best of the Super Juniors tournament and is a huge star on the rise after that victory for New Japan Pro Wrestling.
According to a report from RingSideNews.com, WWE officials were extremely interested in having Ospreay participate in the “Cruiserweight Classic” this July.
That news shouldn’t be shocking since everyone is interested in signing him now, but he’s signed with New Japan for the next two years, so it’s very unlikely he’ll be a part of the series come July.
However, there are rumblings that New Japan and WWE have been negotiating a potential deal for Ospreay to get involved in the series, but it would most likely take a lot now that everyone has been announced for it.
Will Ospreay is an international superstar, and he is very young. At only twenty-three years old, he’s the youngest man to win the Super Juniors tournament and WWE will most likely be knocking on his door in two years.
Do you think Will Ospreay will go to WWE over the next few years?
