Kevin Owens is a great heel. In fact, he may be the top heel in the company. That won’t be a question if he walks out of “Money in the Bank” on Sunday as the Mr. “Money in the Bank.”

There is a lot of speculation about that coming true because a previous rumor claimed that Owens was the favorite to come out of the match with the briefcase.

However, the briefcase is irrelevant to WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin. Recently, Austin did an interview with Sports Illustrated to discuss many things wrestling, and Kevin Owens came up during the interview.

It seems that Stone Cold is a huge fan of Owens. It was also previously reported that Vince McMahon felt the same way, but Stone Cold made a point to say Owens is ready to have a title run.

You can read the full interview right here. Below is what Austin had to say about Kevin Owens winning the WWE title:

“I think they’ve got to give Kevin Owens a run with the belt. He’s a veteran and he’s really clicking on the mic, and the kid is super talented. Give him a f—— run. I don’t know why you wouldn’t give the guy the opportunity, he’s just too good.”
