Rumor: Trish Stratus Considering Return to WWE For a Match With Sasha Banks

The last time WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus discussed returning to the ring, she had some opponents in mind and even proposed a potential heel run.

Last month during that interview with Sports Illustrated, Trish had the following thoughts about The Boss of WWE’s Women’s division:

“Sasha, to me, is a star. There are a lot of comparisons, but I don’t think we are that similar, actually, at all. But she’s the star of the division, and she’s the one. She really knows her character, she owns her character, and she’s so solid in the ring.”

During an even more recent interview with RingRustRadio.com, Trish Stratus discussed the idea of returning for a match with Sasha Banks and gave an answer to that very interesting question.

“Would it make sense for me to come back and fight Sasha Banks? I will never close the door if there is something that will challenge me. It would have to be a challenge to me, it would have to elevate someone else on the show and it would need to be something exciting for the fans.

“What do they want to see? They always ask who I would go back to work for and one person is Nattie. She isn’t one of the top current girls, but I never got a chance to work with her and it would be kind of dream to be able to.”
