There has been quite a lot of speculation about Seth Rollins returning to WWE programming recently. It’s been rumored over the past few week that he’ll be returning for the June 6th edition of Monday Night Raw a week after John Cena returns from his injury.
However, there is a new rumor going around that the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion could be making his return as early as tonight’s “Extreme Rules” PPV from Newark, New Jersey.
According to a report from Wrestlezone.com, there is a rumor going around that Seth Rollins has been spotted in Newark, New Jersey today before “Extreme Rules” goes live from the Prudential Center.
Their report is claiming that Rollins was officially cleared to compete earlier this week, and he could make his return to WWE programming two weeks early.
The true question is if he is returning tonight, will he be getting involved in the “Extreme Rules” match between AJ Styles and Roman Reigns?
The most obvious way for Seth Rollins to return to programming is for him to target the WWE Championship that he technically next lost, but was forced to vacate because of his injury.
If Rollins returns tonight, it’s going to be a major game changer for Monday Night Raw tomorrow night and for the “Money in the Bank” PPV next month.
Do you think Seth Rollins should return to WWE tonight, or should he wait until another time?
