The rumors about a potential return to WWE have been running wild for Goldberg ever since Wrestlemania 32. Those rumors caught fire around “Summerslam” last month and are still going strong.
For whatever reason, the WWE Universe is fascinated about a potential match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar despite it happening at Wrestlemania 20 to disappointing results.
There is enough speculation that as “Summerslam” went off the air, the Brooklyn crowd chanted “Goldberg” over twelve years after a New York crowd booed them out of Madison Square Garden in 2004.
Recently, there have been some reports about Goldberg discussing a potential WWE return and “the wheel are in motion,” but no one has uncovered what those plans could be.
There is no doubt that Golberg vs. Lesnar II over a decade later would be an amazing match for any PPV card, but the most obvious place to have such a clash of titans would be Wrestlemania 33.
According to a new report from Sportskeeda.com, that’s exactly what could be in the cards for next year’s Wrestlemania in Orlando. Goldberg vs. Lesnar would be a tall order for the card, but stranger things have happened.
