There has been a lot of speculation over the past few years that every Wrestlemania could be The Undertaker’s last. This was especially true after Brock Lesnar broke The Streak almost two years ago.
Since then, every year has potentially been the last, and it’s been a concern for a lot of people that Undertaker’s body will one day break and leave us with the sour taste in our mouths that Sting’s last match left us with last year.
However, it looks like WWE is going to raise the tension just a little bit more for Undertaker’s match with Shane McMahon this year. As if Hell in a Cell and Shane potentially taking over WWE wasn’t enough, there is a rumor that The Phenom’s career will be on the line as well.
According to Sportskeeda.com, the idea to place his career on the line will create a lot more tension because suddenly The Undertaker has a lot to fight for in the match and either way, something major happens to change WWE forever.
Either we’ll be seeing the end of the legendary career of The Undertaker or Shane McMahon will become the new authority in WWE. This new stipulation makes Wrestlemania 32 a very important event for the future of WWE’s programming.
What’s interesting is that it was reported yesterday that The Undertaker is expected to remain with WWE after Wrestlemania, but he’ll be doing it on the European tour, not necessarily on WWE programming.
The card is always subject to change and this April, we could be seeing the end of The Deadman, but then what was the point of bringing back Shane O’ Mac.
The entire match has a ton of moving parts and is definitely the most complicated match on the Wrestlemania card. We’re just going to have to wait and see what WWE has planned.
