Last week, former WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella received some “amazing news” about her neck surgery from her doctor.

Apparently, her recovery is going perfectly. Her return to the ring is still scheduled to be in late 2016 or very early 2017, but her recovery going this well makes an earlier return much more likely. Nikki posted the following update on Instagram:

Rocked the elliptical for the first time today in months! Felt amazing! Love to sweat like this! And even though I still can’t do ab workouts, cardio will help me get my abs back! I’ve lost 10 pounds and feel amazing!! I refused to gain weight after surgery, I may not be able to do a lot but with a strict diet and something little everyday it makes a huge difference!??? #stayfearless#fearlessnikki #morningmotivation #strongissexy #fitness

Creatively, it’s going to be very interesting to see what Nikki Bella does when she returns to WWE. It’s also very difficult to predict because we don’t know what the WWE Divas division will look like in six to nine months, but Nikki has a top spot no matter what when she’s back.

The only issue is she’s kind of been there and done that when it comes to the WWE Divas Championship, so it’s going to be very interesting to see her place in the division when she returns.

What do you want Nikki Bella to do when she returns to WWE?
