Kevin Owens: “Sooner or Later, I Will Be WWE Champion”

In 2015, Kevin Owens was the NXT Champion for almost six months. Shortly after he moved to the WWE main roster full-time, he was the Intercontinental Champion for three months.

Overall, Owens had gold on his shoulder for nine months out of last year. The WWE fans should be used to seeing gold around his waist. However, not everyone can imagine Kevin Owens with the WWE Championship around his waist. Along with twenty-eight other men, Owens will have the opportunity at the “Royal Rumble”.

Kevin Owens has no problem imagining the WWE title around his waist. In fact, he was recently interviewed by CantonRep.com, and he made his case as a main event star in WWE.

“I think I’m already in consideration for that. I’m being put in the ring with guys like Roman Reigns, I’m main-eventing a lot of the live events, and I’ve only been here for seven months. I don’t think me becoming WWE world champion is at all out of the realm of possibility. It could happen at any time. I think it might be something that’s very shocking to a lot of people, but I’ve been doing this for 15 years. I feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be, and I honestly think whether it’s sooner or later, I will be WWE champion.”
