WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was a part of WWE’s recent tour of Mexico. On a recent edition of Flair’s “WOOOOO! Nation podcast”, Flair revealed that he tore his Achilles tendon last week during that tour.

The details are unclear of when the injury occurred, but he initially thought he would require surgery. His doctors thought otherwise and have injected The Nature Boy with stem cells. Flair claims his ankle in not fully healed, but he can walk at a normal pace.

You can listen to the full podcast right here to hear it from The Man himself.

In another piece of Nature Boy news, Ric Flair will receive his own “30 for 30” special for ESPN.

Production company Legacy Talent and Entertainment have posted the following statement on their Facebook page Friday letting the world know the good news:

We named this company Legacy Talent because it’s our mission to help preserve the legacies that our clients have worked a lifetime to build. Yesterday we took a huge step in documenting Ric Flair’s legacy by starting to shoot his 30 for 30 ESPN Film. We are honored to work with such a prestigious group on a project we are so passionate about!

No date is set on when ESPN plans to debut the documentary.
