The return of Randy Orton has been a topic of conversation for far too long now. He’s been out since October with a shoulder injury and it was debated for months if he would need neck surgery.
The last we heard about Orton’s return is that he was due back before Summerslam. The last report claimed that he still wasn’t medically cleared and there is still no timetable for his return.
However, there is some hope and light at the end of the tunnel because it looks like The Viper is booked for August.
According to DailyWrestlingNews.com, Randy Orton is being advertised for some tag team matches at WWE live events in late August, but no opponents have been announced as of this writing.
It’s clear that Orton’s return to the ring is imminent, but it’s possible that WWE officials are waiting until after the brand split to bring him back and make him a major player for Raw or SmackDown.
There are so many new opponents for Randy Orton to feud with when he returns, so the possibilities are endless no matter which brand he is drafted to, or what the rosters look like.
Do you think Randy Orton should become a WWE Champion again?
