Plans For The Divas Championship At “Survivor Series” Revealed

This news is expected, but it’s now officially being reported from Wrestling-Edge.com and other sites. The plans for the WWE Divas Championship at next month’s “Survivor Series” will be a match between the champion Charlotte and Paige.

These plans should not come as a surprise after last night’s edition of RAW. After losing a six-diva tag team match to The Bellas, Team PCB fell apart right before our eyes as Paige attacked her former teammates Charlotte and Becky Lynch. Now, Paige wants the Divas Championship back to put on her mantlepiece in “her house”.

It’s curious that WWE is booking Paige’s heel turn on the Raw after “Hell in a Cell” and rushing the feud for “Survivor Series” in Atlanta rather than a “Survivor Series Elimination Match” for all three teams of the Divas division to get involved.

Now, it’s even more curious to see where Team Bella and Team BAD will be on the “Survivor Series” card. Leaving Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Nikki Bella off one of WWE’s biggest PPVs of the year seems like a poor move. However, putting all three of those women or more into a No. 1 Contenders bout at “Survivor Series” would add the next dimension to Charlotte vs. Paige if the feud is only for one event.

It’s too early to tell who will walk out as Divas Champion or if Charlotte vs. Paige has legs to go for months.
