Opinion: We're Still Talking About "The Final Deletion", That's the Most Important Thing

Today, wrestling fans have a lot to say about Hardy vs. Hardy in “The Final Deletion” match that occurred last night for TNA Wrestling on POP TV.

It is one of those things that you must see to have an opinion of, so if you’ve seen it already then great. If not, it’s below for your viewing pleasure or hatred and then we can talk about one of the weirdest matches of the year.

Now, you probably feel one way or another about “The Final Deletion.” The response has been loud, but it has also been both positive and negative. Many fans thought it was cheesy fun and others have thought it was the stupidest thing they’ve ever seen in the industry.

It’s undeniably captivating though, isn’t it? Sometimes, something is so bad that it becomes humorous and fun. I think that is part of what the Hardy Boys are going for here because isn’t all wrestling a little cheesy and stupid?

It doesn’t matter if it’s Hart vs. Michaels, Austin vs. Rock, or Hardy vs. Hardy, the outside world looks at wrestling as two “jacked up” half naked guys rolling around in a ring and doing “moves” to each other.

There is a logic to wrestling that good or bad, as long as their is a strong reaction, you’re going to make money. Today, Hardy vs. Hardy has the wrestling world talking and that is what is important at the end of the day.

Personally, I don’t think it’s a great “match.” I think the Hardys do a few moves. There is the unsafe tree spot, and then it’s them shooting fireworks at each other, and fooling around until the “fire” spot that ends the match.

However, the story and the fan reaction is what people remember and mission accomplished as far as that goes. So, the match may be stupid and crazy fun, or insanely stupid to you, but you’re still talking about it.
