Last night on Monday Night Raw, Apollo Crews and Cesaro teamed up for the first time to defeat the team of Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus.

Crews has been feuding with Sheamus, but Del Rio and Cesaro have been bouncing around the midcard over the past few months. There are many things that could be done with Del Rio, but did WWE stumble upon something interesting with Cesaro last night?

Raw’s announce team made a point to emphasize how cool the pairing of Cesaro and Crews was during the match, which could have been a test to see how the WWE Universe responded to the pairing.

The two have a very unique pairing to be sure. Both men have strength, agility, athleticism, and skill to match anyone on the current roster. Together, they could be an unbeatable tag team in the division.

Honestly, Cesaro has little to do in terms of character. His has momentum, but he’s on the back burner right now. Coming back to the tag team division as a veteran with a young talent like Crews could be great for him.

Crews has had Sheamus doing his best to get him over. He’s now lost to him clean twice, and getting the rub from being Cesaro’s tag team partner would go a long way to getting him momentum as a face and having the chance to learn from The Swiss Superman about how to get over with the WWE Universe in the ring.

Frankly, a face team like this would never be wasted, and it could be a great thing for both Cesaro and Crews to from a tag team until the opportunity comes up for one or both men to get single pushes towards a title.

Do you think Cesaro and Crews forming a team is a good idea?
