Apollo Crews is one of the most naturally gifted athletes WWE has had in quite some time. His talent is incredible, and he has an instant superstar appeal.

The only thing that is holding him back is a maturity in the microphone, more experience, and a stronger connection with the audience as a character.

Essentially, Crews has all the natural ability necessary to be a great performer, but he is still developing the skills to capitalize on those gifts. These are all things that develop over time.

For the short term, could Paul Heyman be a man to mentor him, teach him how to improve in these areas in the same way he has with Brock Lesnar?

Could Apollo Crews become a Paul Heyman guy?

We know Heyman would be able to bring legitimacy to him, great promos, and help build his character, but Crews’ natural likability is going to add a lot to Heyman as well to have him represent a face.

Brock Lesnar is an attraction that makes him kind of immune to being a face or a heel. For Heyman to really represent a face would be very interesting and set up another betrayal from him to potentially set up Crews vs. Lesnar in a very interesting match.

Do you think Apollo Crews would work as a Paul Heyman guy?
