Tye Dillinger should be a superstar. He’s been one of the most underrated wrestlers in NXT for a long time now. If “Yes” could get over to the heights it did, then why can’t “10” be somewhat successful. He deserves more, but he’s found his way into the spotlight.

This feud with Bobby Roode is the perfect situation for him to reach the main event level in NXT, which is something he is more than capable of handling. At NXT Takeover: Toronto, Dillinger will face Roode in what could be the best match of the night.

Bobby Roode has been on an absolute tear since debuting in NXT and he’s currently the hottest thing going in WWE developmental right now. However, Dillinger vs. Roode has legs to be a long-term program for NXT, and I see a lot of potential for both men.

In my opinion, this is the feud that brings Dillinger to the main event or the main roster if that’s the better option. Dillinger vs. Roode will be a great match in Toronto, but it’s a match that Roode should win by cheating.

If Roode has to cheat to beat Dillinger, then the feud can continue in a way that makes sense. Tye Dillinger will look great, Roode will pick up heel heat, and the feud continues until Dillinger defeats Roode. That is a career program for both men.
