Nikki Bella Has Been Medically Cleared to Return to WWE

For the past several weeks, Nikki Bella has been getting back into the ring and training at the WWE Performance Center. The expectation is that she’d be ready for WWE television in September at some point.

However, there are some reports going around that she may be ready to return to the ring. Nothing is confirmed as of this writing, but she may be returning to WWE much sooner than most expected.

According to a report from Wrestlezone.com, Nikki Bella has been officially medically cleared to return to WWE television, and it could come as early as this Sunday’s “Summerslam.”

Just yesterday, Eva Marie was suspended for thirty days after she violated the WWE Wellness Policy. It was an inopportune time because “Summerslam” is only a few days away.

Marie was scheduled to team with Alexa Bliss and Natalya to face the team of Carmella, Becky Lynch, and Naomi during the show, but now it seems that her spot could be filled by Nikki Bella.

The expectation was the Nikki Bella would move to SmackDown when she returned to WWE anyway, so being a part of that match and the “Summerslam” PPV isn’t a reach.
