Only a few days ago, the rumor came to light that Luke Harper’s injury from this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw was a torn ACL.
At the time, it wasn’t a confirmed injury. The truth is that it still isn’t confirmed as of this writing, but there is a new rumor circling Harper’s injury status.
According to PWInsider.com, Harper’s injury is not only real; it’s going to be a serious issue for him and The Wyatt Family over the next several months.
The sources are claiming that if it is a torn ACL, he’ll be out of the ring for the next five to six months. That’s not only going to derail his career, and it’s going to make the booking of The Wyatt Family very interesting.
Since they were expected to feud with Brock Lesnar over the majority of 2016, Harper was going to be an important part of the feud. The Wyatt’s power is in their numbers, and while he can still appear alongside Bray Wyatt, he can’t get back in the ring and fight.
Technically, Luke Harper is the most accomplished member of the Wyatt Family. Of course, Bray is the leader of the stable, but Harper is the only one with any WWE title to his resume.
If Bray Wyatt has a number two, it’s Luke Harper, and if his injury is legit, it’s going to be very curious to see The Wyatt Family without him for five to six months.
Do you think Luke Harper could do even better as a solo wrestler?
