There are many reasons to watch Lucha Underground. The show’s first season has been met with universal acclaim from wrestling fans and critics alike. A second season of Lucha Underground wasn’t a question, but when was one.

Almost two months ago, Lucha Underground announced a second season. Since then, Alberto Del Rio has signed with WWE. He’s also won the United States Championship from John Cena. There were rumors of LU and Alberto El Patron having issues with his contract. In the end, Del Rio chose WWE because they paid him more and LU shared creative differences.

Today, Lucha Underground has officially announced the first taping dates for the promotion’s second season. The taping will take place in Los Angeles on November 14 and 15, and then on November 21 and 22.

Those dates are going to be a taping that is currently listed as a four-hour event. Lucha Underground does a lot of editing down their matches, but that could mean two episodes, or even four episodes a night. After that week of taping, there will be enough content for 16 episodes.

For tickets to the tapings, you can email [email protected].

Editor’s Note:

My Uncle lives thirty minutes away from Boyle Heights. There is no way I’m not going to see Lucha Underground live this year. Honestly, I’d rather go to Ultima Lucha this year than go to Wrestlemania.
