The ongoing saga of Jimmy Snuka’s trial in the murder of his ex-girlfriend Nancy Argentino continued today, but the truth is that the entire situation has stalled.
The latest update we had on the situation was that a judge was going to determine if Snuka was able to handle the stresses of going to trial or if it would force his health to decline and potentially become a fatal experience.
According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, there was a hearing today to determine the WWE Hall of Famer’s competency in Lehigh Valley, PA.
It was ultimately decided by the assigned judge that Snuka is not competent to stand trial for the 1983 death of then-girlfriend Nancy Argentino.
A local reporter by the name of Sarah Cassi provided an update on Twitter about the judge’s decision:

As shown above, there will be a new hearing in six months to re-evalutate the competency of Jimmy Snuka and if he can handle the trial then.
However, Snuka’s lawyers argued that his condition is only going to worsen over the next six months and it’s possible that we never see him go to trial out of fear that it would be fatal to his health.
