Jerry “The King” Lawler is no stranger to life and death situations. In 2012, Lawler worked a match on Raw and then suffered a near-fatal heart attack live on the air while he was on commentary.
Unfortunately, The King was involved in a head-on collision on Halloween night with his girlfriend driving. The following tweets were posted by Lawler afterward:

ProWrestlingSheet.com is also reporting that the driver of the car that crashed into Lawler and his girlfriend was not driving under the influence. A rep from the Memphis Police Department has told the site that the vehicle Jerry Lawler was riding in was hit on it’s right, front side.
The driver was not under the influence and was cleared of that by the officers, but she was only cited for running a red light. No further investigation will be taking place, and no one was seriously injured in this unfortunate accident. Jerry Lawler’s ability to commentate on Smackdown this Tuesday shouldn’t be an issue.
