Last night during “Payback”, Enzo Amore and Big Cass faced The Vaudevillains in the opening match of the night to determine the No.1 Contenders to The New Day’s WWE World Tag Team Championship.
However, the match was called off a few minutes in after Enzo took a very bad bump and had to be stretchered out of the arena.
According to a report from Wrestlezone.com, Enzo suffered a concussion last night after being taken and evaluated at a local Chicago hospital.
It’s being reported that the concussion he suffered was quite severe, but Enzo was able to remember everything from before the match and could move and communicate just fine. As it was announced by Michael Cole during the event, Enzo underwent many tests that all came back negative.
Enzo was eventually discharged last night from the hospital and was said to be in good spirits judging by the following photo that was posted last night:

As far as getting back in the ring is concerned, WWE as a company has taken concussions much more seriously over the past few years and the Daniel Bryan situation is a perfect example of that.
Enzo still needs to pass the ImPACT concussion testing before he will be cleared to return to the ring. It’s also likely that will keep him out of the ring for awhile, but he could probably still return to do promos.
Do you think Big Cass should get a singles push while Enzo is recovering?
