Tonight’s round of TNA Impact Wrestling tapings are doing a lot of work setting up for Slammiversary. It’s been a tough week for the company, but there is a new King of the Mountain Champion, and TNA has done a solid job setting up a few matches for June’s Slammiversary event.

During tonight’s Impact Wrestling tapings, Eli Drake defeated Bram when he cashed in his “Feast or Fired briefcase”. Bram had just wrestled a match with Bobby Lashley, but that match ended in a disqualification.
Lashley continued attacking Bram with a chair after the match, but that gave Drake the golden opportunity to run down and cash in his briefcase.
It hasn’t been confirmed for Slammiversary, but the expectation is that we’ll be seeing Bram vs. Drake at the event in the rematch.
What has been confirmed is this year’s Slammiversary will be headlined by Drew Galloway vs. Bobby Lashley for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. It was also announced from tonight’s tapings that Ethan Carter III will face Mike Bennett at the event as well.
Slammiversary will be TNA’s first major PPV of the year and will take place at Universal Studios in Orlando on June 12th.
