Tonight, Daniel Bryan will be on Monday Night Raw to officially announce his retirement from professional wrestling. He has already made the announcement on his Twitter account, which you can see below:

It’s a great tragedy that just as he reached the mountain top and won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 30, injuries have completely derailed the last two years of his career until tonight when he finally accepts that he’ll never wrestle again.
The really interesting part now is that if Daniel Bryan is done wrestling for good, what is to become of him in this business? Will he be released by WWE? Will he “retire” from WWE and then wrestle for other promotions like some before him have done?
Or, is Daniel Bryan also going to appear on Monday Night Raw tonight to reveal his future in this business in a non-wrestling role? It’s not easy to accept that he’s done in the ring, but watching him do it live on Raw is going to make it a tough night.
