It seems that the Cody Rhodes situation in WWE is officially coming to an end. Cody requested and was granted his release from WWE last week before “Extreme Rules.”

A few days later, Eden, real name Brandi Runnels, left the company as well. It was rumored that the last Rhodes in WWE, Goldust would be following them, but that rumor has been squashed.

After Cody’s release from the company, it’s been said that the powers that be are making it quite difficult for him to pursue his career after WWE.

He’s got to serve his ninety-day non-compete clause before he can go to another wrestling promotion, but he’s already got big plans for when that time is up.

Cody Rhodes recently revealed a “wish list” of wrestling opponents he’d like to face in the industry. You can read the list from a tweet by the former Intercontinental Champion:

Obviously, there are some very interesting names on that list. For WWE fans, seeing Kurt Angle vs. Cody Rhodes would be a lot of fun.

The names on that list are signed to Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling, or TNA. Obviously, Cody is looking to scratch some of those names off the list. He’s clearly looking for a new promotion.

Which promotion do you think Cody Rhodes will sign with next?
