At “Extreme Rules”, Ric Flair was banned from ringside during Charlotte’s WWE Women’s title defense against Natalya in their Submission match.
However, it was Dana Brooke who emerged to help her retain the championship. There was a rumor about pairing Brooke with Eva Marie, but WWE has chosen the current Women’s Champion for a specific reason.
During last night’s edition of Monday Night Raw, Charlotte verbally abused her father and banished him from her side despite his undying loyalty to his daughter and her title reign.
Flair tearfully, yet quietly left her side, the arena, and it appears that he’s left WWE programming for the foreseeable future of the product.
Now, the WWE Women’s Champion has formed a duo with Dana Brooke, and there are many different possibilities for their partnership.
First and foremost, this is a great thing for Brooke, who has burst onto the main roster, beaten both Becky Lynch and Paige, and aligned herself with the top heel in the division. Brooke has cemented a top spot very quickly on the main roster.
For Charlotte, The Nature Boy gave her a great rub of the Flair name and a ton of history as she became “The Woman” of WWE. He has already given her everything that Ric could in terms of momentum. It is a lot of good heel heat to banish her father publicly like that, and now she’s primed for her next feud.
Will Ric Flair be back to manage another female against Charlotte?
