Bobby Roode has been circling NXT for quite some time now. It all started at NXT Takeover: Dallas. Roode was shown on camera, and we all knew that something was going on between him and the powers that be.

It wasn’t until Roode made a surprising debut on the NXT roster during live events, and he reappeared during Takeover: The End that it was only a matter of time until he arrived on NXT programming on the WWE Network.

Well, tonight was the night for Bobby Roode. During NXT’s television tapings, the next several weeks of content was filmed, and Roode made his official NXT TV debut, but it won’t air until August 10th.

Roode made his NXT debut by cutting a promo saying that the wait was finally over, and he had arrived. Roode talked about how he’s come to NXT to help expand the brand and make it a global powerhouse.

As he went on, it became more and more clear that Roode will be a heel in NXT to start. It wasn’t until he claimed that Full Sail University will be filled with businessmen, not loser fan that he lost the crowd.
