His suspension put him on very thin ice with the company, but his arrest made it a question of when not if he would be released.
It has officially been announced via WWE.com that Adam Rose has been granted his release by the company and the following statement was made:
“WWE has granted Adam Rose’s request to be released, as of today, May 23, 2016. WWE wishes Rose the best in all his future endeavors.”
Rose’s release comes not even twenty-four hours after Cody Rhodes requested his own release from the company after reaching a stalemate with WWE creative.
When WWE released King Barrett and Damien Sandow, their reasoning was to make a change with the depth of the current roster, which shouldn’t be a problem now if you include the Ryback situation.
The difference with Rose is his release was due to a suspension and his recent arrest in a domestic violence case against his wife. It was only a matter of time until he was released, but his “request” to be released may not be truly genuine, but that’s unconfirmed.
