That’s how they’re dealing with things. The Coronavirus is hitting the wrestling world all over again and there is nothing to suggest that it is going away anytime soon. This can cause a heck of a lot of problems in a hurry and that is the case with WWE. The company has a lot of resources available though, and now they are going to have to use some more to their advantage.
WWE is holding its annual post Christmas live event at Madison Square Garden in New York City this weekend and a surprise match has been announced. The Garden’s Twitter account has announced that NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa will be defending his title against Pete Dunne. According to PWInsider.com, the match is also being added to this week’s Monday Night Raw live events in an effort to make up for some of the wrestlers taken off the shows due to Coronavirus issues.

This should be good. Check out the NXT guys in action:
Opinion: This might not be optimal but it is one of WWE’s greatest strengths: their roster is depleted, so here are two veterans who you can put out there for fifteen minutes and guarantee a hot match. The New York crowd should love this one and with some luck, it could pretty easily steal the night. Hopefully it doesn’t have to run that long, but I am rather happy that these guys are getting a chance.
What do you think of the match? How do you see it going? Let us know in the comments below.
