That’s a big one. There have been a lot of changes to WWE in recent months and now it seems to be getting even worse due to the Coronavirus pandemic flaring up again. As you might expect, WWE is likely to be worried about the situation and now they seem to be doing something it, even if the people involved might not have anything wrong with them yet.

According to PWInsider.com, several names advertised for Sunday’s live events in Tampa, Florida and New York City did not appear as scheduled. WWE announced that they were missing due to Coronavirus complications, though that DOES NOT mean the wrestlers have tested positive. There is a chance that they were instead being held off out of precaution and safety with Day One coming next week. Here is a list of the wrestlers who missed the shows:

New York City:

*WWE Champion Big E.
*WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
*Bianca Belair.
*Bobby Lashley.
*Seth Rollins.
*Zelina Vega.

Tampa:

*WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.
*WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
*Xavier Woods.

There is no word on when they will be back in the ring.

That is some top level talent. Check out some of the big names missing:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that might be a big problem but right now the best thing we can do is wait and see what happens. There is a chance that WWE sacrificed the live events for the sake of making sure the upcoming Day One event next week. It might not be the best thing for this week, but it does make enough sense in this case. The pandemic has shaken up a bunch of things and I can imagine that WWE is not willing to risk any huge issues.

What do these absences mean? How can WWE fix things if several of them are out? Let us know in the comments below.
