The word duh comes to mind. Jinder Mahal has been the Smackdown World Champion for just shy of five months now and his reign hasn’t been the best received. The question now is where does he go from here. Mahal is defending his title against Shinsuke Nakamura this Sunday, but there’s a good reason to believe he’ll hold the title until early December at the latest.

According to WWE.com, WWE will be heading to India for two shows this December, both of which will include Jinder Mahal. While the shows are “Monday Night Raw” branded, Mahal will be featured as a special attraction. The shows will be held on December 8 and 9 in the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.

WWE has a nice history in India, including this appearance:

Yes! India welcomes Daniel Bryan and WWE

Opinion: This is far from a shock and I don’t think anyone was expecting anything else. If they’re going to India, what in the world would the point be to not include Mahal? He’s going to be the top star in the whole thing and now he actually has some credibility instead of just being a comedy guy. This was completely expected and it’s nice to have them confirm it already.

What do you think of Mahal’s title reign? Who will take the title from him? Let us know in the comments below.
