Filling in the ranks. Tag tea wrestling has never been the strongest area for WWE. When you look back, there are only a handful of times when the division was actually strong. There’s no reason to believe that’s going to change in the near future, but at least it seems like WWE is trying something.
WWE has officially announced the signing of War Machine (Hanson and Rowe) with the team heading to the Performance Center in the near future. War Machine has teamed together since 2014 and are two time IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions as well as one time Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions.
If you’ve never seen them, here’s a look at the team.
ROH Sneak Peek: WAR MACHINE vs The HOUSE OF TRUTH - Ring of Honor TV Ep 203
Opinion: War Machine is going to be an interesting team as they’re similar to the Authors of Pain. Hanson and Rowe are a pair of monsters who can throw people around and run them over with raw power, which is often all you need. They’re fine enough with the talking and there’s a good chance we might be able to see a heck of a hoss fight with the Authors at some point.
