It might be a bit. WWE is a very large company and has several wrestlers to keep track of at any given amount of time. What matters is having those wrestlers ready to go but sometimes there are situations that have to be dealt with to keep them in the ring. That is the case again and now we will not be seeing a Monday Night Raw star while he is off dealing with something.

Last week on Monday Night Raw, Solo Sikoa attacked Matt Riddle, resulting in him being taken out on a stretcher. On SmackDown, an announcement was made that Riddle would be missing for six weeks, bringing him back in late January. However, according to Bodyslam.net, Riddle was written off television due to failing a drug test leading up to Summerslam. Riddle was told that if he failed another test, it would result in him going to rehab or being fired. Riddle failed another test and chose rehab, causing him to be written off TV. There is no word on what Riddle tested positive for, but WWE no longer tests for marijuana.
Riddle was sent off in a big way. Check out how he was written off of television:
Opinion: That does explain a random change for Riddle, but hopefully everything is ok after the whole incident. Riddle is a talented star and you never want to see someone having issues like this. Maybe the treatment will help him solve his problems, though that is something we will have to wait to see. Riddle’s health is what matters most though, and now hopefully he can get things straightened out.
What do you think of Riddle? Who should he face when he gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
