You need a hook. With so many WWE events per year, it can be difficult to find something that makes them special. What is supposed to make the show that much more interesting than any of the other shows that are taking place? One of the best ways is to add in something unique, and now WWE is considering trying something that will make the shows stand out more.

Over the weekend, Jamie Noble appeared as a mystery partner for Braun Strowman and the Brawling Brutes as the team defeated the Bloodline at a WWE live event in Charleston, West Virginia. The match served as Noble’s retirement match and marked the first time that he had wrestled in over seven years. According to Fightful Select, WWE is considering presenting more matches like this one at live events, as they want to offer fans a unique reason to come to the shows. There is no word on what kind of matches WWE might present.

Opinion: That is an idea that has some legs as WWE live events can be fun, but they might not always feel special. If WWE is running major matches every single week on television, seeing them live in person only has so much appeal. Add in some special matches and see how much better things can get. It’s an idea that worked in the past and it very well could work again now.
