IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Another One: AEW Star Reportedly Out Of Action With A Concussion
Last month, WWE released Matt Riddle from his contract with the company following an incident at JFK Airport in New York City. Around the time of his release, Riddle had been teaming with a reluctant Drew McIntyre. According to WrestleVotes, WWE had several merchandise ideas planned for the team, under the name “McRiddle”. There is no word on how long the team would have been together.

Opinion: Sure why not. This is one of those things that sounds hard to fathom but for some reason WWE thought it would have been a good idea. Riddle and McIntyre had some chemistry together, but calling them “McRiddle” might be one of the biggest stretches imaginable. Maybe WWE wouldn’t have gone all the way with the idea, but they certainly seemed to have some kind of an idea for them.
What do you think of the name? How far could the team have gone? Let us know in the comments below.
