She has their eye. There have been some very important developments and changes in the WWE’s women’s division in the last several years, with the Four Horsewomen being the focal point for a long time. The four of them have been huge stars in WWE since their debuts, but at some point they have to be replaced. Now a WWE boss seems to think something special about an upcoming star.
According to WrestleVotes during an interview with GiveMeSport, WWE executive Triple H sees NXT’s Cora Jade as the next Sasha Banks. WWE sees her as having the talent, a unique look and being young at 21 years old. The company feels she has high potential, though there is no word on when she could be promoted to the main roster. Jade signed with WWE in January 2021 and is a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion with Roxanne Perez.
Opinion: I’m not sure how far Jade is going to go in WWE but it would not surprise me whatsoever to see her become a star. She is indeed young and talented, but more importantly you can see her “it” factor when she is on the show. Jade seems to get how this works and that is the kind of thing you cannot teach in wrestling. Banks is quite the goal, but Jade is off to a great start.
