WRESTLING RUMORS: Here’s Why A Missing WWE Superstar Is Not Being Used

That’s a problem. With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster, it can be difficult for someone to stand out. It takes something special to be the kind of wrestler that the fans want to see and you know it is working when you see it happen. Unfortunately you can also see it not working and that seems to be the case with a star who has been notably absent in recent weeks.

Riddick Moss was sent to Monday Night Raw during the 2023 WWE Draft but has only wrestled one match on the show, taking part in a battle royal on May 15. According to Steve Carrier of Ringsidenews.com, a member of the WWE creative team said that no one knows what to do with Moss as he does not connect with the audience and vice versa. There is no word on when Moss could return to Monday Night Raw, though he has occasionally wrestled on Main Event.

We've asked around about Riddick Moss, and there's nothing to tell.

A tenured member of the creative team told us "No one knows what to do with Madcap Moss." He has just never connected with the fans.

Opinion: This does make sense as there are only so many ways to make a character stick in wrestling. Moss has a great look and he’s perfectly serviceable in the ring, but nothing has exactly clicked yet. There are ways to make that work and now it is up to WWE to make it a reality. It can be done, but WWE is going to have to figure out something of a complicated problem.
