Bring Them Back: WWE Has Long Term Plans For Recently Split NXT Tag Team

Getting them ready. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster, to the point where it has been split into three different groups. This includes NXT, where several wrestlers receive seasoning before coming up to the main roster. In addition, there are former main roster stars who head down to NXT to freshen up a bit. That appears to be what two stars are doing, and now there is a plan for them.

In recent weeks, the team of Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo have split up, though a series of vignettes have aired, showing the two of them wanting to reunited for the sake of their grandfather. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, while the two are currently in NXT, there are plans for them to return to the main roster as a regular team. There is no word on when they might be called back up.

Opinion: I’m curious about the team’s future, as splitting them up never made a ton of sense. They’re a perfectly serviceable team and it isn’t like WWE’s tag division has the greatest depth in the world. Putting them together again, especially with a renweed push, could be a good idea and thankfully it seems that WWE certainly has something like that in mind.
