And that, as they say, is that. Twelve weeks ago, WWE started a new show on Facebook called “Mixed Match Challenge. The idea was twelve mixed match teams and put them against each other in a tournament with the winning team receiving money towards a charity of their choice. The tournament has gone from the beginning of the year to now, with the finals taking place five days before “Wrestlemania XXXIV”. So who won?

Opinion: This makes as much sense as anything else as Asuka and Miz made a heck of a team. It was clear that they were one of the best teams in the competition and it made sense to have them win here. Roode and Charlotte weren’t far behind, but having Asuka lose her undefeated streak, even on a technicality, in something like this wasn’t going to make sense no matter how WWE went about it. The Miz and Asuka winning was the right call and there’s not much of an argument otherwise.
