A little insanity never hurt anyone. The WWE roster changes constantly. There are almost always new people showing up or doing something new to change things in one way or another. This can include names coming up from NXT, which is often one of the most interesting parts of the year. That was the case again this week, as an NXT name made their main roster debut.
How did she look?
This week on SmackDown Live, Nikki Cross made her debut on the main roster in a losing effort against SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. The match was a result of an open challenge from Lynch, with Sanity coming out before Cross followed. Cross was a member of the group in NXT but didn’t follow them up to the main roster. There is no word on if this is a one time appearance of a full time move for Cross.
Opinion: This is certainly a nice surprise and I could go for Cross being around full time. She’s the kind of person who actually comes off as insane and that’s the kind of thing that adds a little element of uncertainty to the show. That’s rather entertaining and if Cross is there every week to make things a little different, the show should only get that much better.
