He’s back. Wrestlers do not keep regular schedules in the ring, as you never know when you are going to see them wrestle again. Rather than wrestling during a season or on a regular stretch, many wrestlers are able to pick and choose when they get back in the ring. That was on display again this weekend, as a wrestler announced his return to the ring for the first time in a good while.

Over the weekend, Timothy Thatcher defeated JT Thorne at a West Coast Pro Wrestling event. Following the match, Thatcher continued to attach Thorne, resulting in Chris Hero making the save. Hero challenged Thatcher to a match on November 17. This will be Hero’s first match since March 7, 2020 when he was still part of NXT UK. Hero has been working with AEW as a producer.

You might remember him. Check out Hero in the ring:
Opinion: It’s great to see Hero getting back in the ring as he is one of the more skilled wrestlers over the last several years. He has wrestled around the world and getting to bring that level of experience and talent to any other promotion is a good thing. Some wrestlers do better outside of the major promotions and Hero is very close to the top of that list, making it all the more fun that he is returning to the ring on the independent circuit.
