Blink and you’ll miss it. A lot of people can tell you about the longest matches in WWE history (meaning they can remember Royal Rumbles, Iron Man matches and a few Bruno Sammartino matches) but what about the other end of the spectrum? What about the shortest matches in WWE history?
As luck would have it, WWE has released a top ten list of the shortest matches in WWE history. Now as is almost always the case, this isn’t likely a complete list with a lot of options missing. Odds are you’ll be seeing a lot of Money in the Bank cash-ins but there should be some others sprinkled in here and there.
Fastest one-on-one matches - WWE Top 10
Opinion: I’m not sure how a top ten list based on time can be out of order but WWE never made the most sense in the first place. Some of those matches aren’t even close to a record as there are other matches such as Bret Hart rolling up Mountie at the bell or Sheamus Brogue Kicking Zack Ryder for a pin in four seconds. Still though, there were some nice flashbacks in there.
What is your favorite fast match? Were you surprised that Rock was listed twice? Let us know in the comments below.
