It’s another career. Wrestlers are often left in a weird place after their careers end, as they still have a lot of working years left. With wrestling careers often ending in a wrestler’s early 40s, they need to find another career for after their wrestling days are over. Some wrestlers have done this just fine, and one in particular is still working on something completely outside of wrestling.
Monday Night Raw star R-Truth has released a music video for his new song Legacy. According to the song’s official description, the song focuses on the hardships that R-Truth has faced to become a successful wrestler and what he has planned for his future. R-Truth has been writing and recording music for years, including What’s Up, which he has used as his theme song for several years.
He’s pretty good at this. Check out some of R-Truth’s music:
Opinion: I’ve never been much of a rap fan but it has always seemed that R-Truth puts a lot of work and effort into his music. That is the kind of thing that deserves some respect as he is following his dreams and passion. It would be cool to see him having some success in the music industry, as he has put in so much time into the whole thing over the years. It is nice to see him doing something else and it seems to be going well enough.
What do you think of R-Truth’s music? Is he better in the ring or in the studio? Let us know in the comments below.
