WATCH: Update On Jacob Fatu Following Scary Moment At WWE Summerslam

Ouch. Injuries can be some of the worst things to happen to any wrestler and unfortunately there is almost no way to completely avoid them. No matter how much training or skill someone has, there is always the chance that they are going to be injured in some way. That seems to have been the case over the weekend and now we have an update on how things are going.

On Saturday at Summerslam, Jacob Fatu interfered in the main event and splashed Cody Rhodes through the announcers’ table. However, Fatu appeared to injure his leg or ankle and did not get to his feet for the remainder of the show. Triple H described Fatu as “banged up” during the post show press event. A clip of Fatu has made its way to social media, showing him in a walking boot. There is no word on how long Fatu, who is one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions along with Tama Tonga, will be out of action.

Opinion: That’s a scary situation and now all we can do is wait and see how things go from here. Fatu is already in a big role in WWE and a lot of that is due to his incredible athleticism. Having him out of action is not good whatsoever but hopefully when he comes back he is able to still do what he did before. It was certainly a frightening moment, but the fact that he is on his feet, albeit with some help, is a good sign.
