That’s in the box. There are all kinds of angles and ways to present stories in wrestling and some of them are less than traditional. Those stories are often told in different ways and can make for some interesting situations when they get a chance to play out. We are seeing another one of those in WWE and the story took something of a twist in its second week.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Working On It: Update On WWE’s Plans For Rhea Ripley As She Recovers From Injury
Last week’s Monday Night Raw ended with the debut of the Wyatt Sicks, who attacked a variety of people. This week, a member of the team appeared and gave Michael Cole a VHS tape. The tape was played later in the show, showing Uncle Howdy interviewing Bo Dallas (who also plays Howdy) about the group’s debut. Dallas spoke about the death of his brother Bray Wyatt and how it took away everything from him. The hope of Dallas and the team is to keep Wyatt’s memory alive. None of the rest of the team appeared during the show.
It’s a new way to go. Check out the video, the delivery and the debut:
Opinion: This is an interesting way to go as it gives quite the motivation for the team. It flat out said that this is all a big tribute to Wyatt himself. Hopefully that also takes away the idea of everything being supernatural, which would be a tricky thing to pull off. This also prevented another major attack on the show as that is not something that can happen every single week.
What did you think of the video? What is next for the team? Let us know in the comments below.
