Welcome back? There have been all kinds of wrestlers throughout WWE’s history and it can be difficult to keep track of all of them. Several of them will leave the company and then never come back, but occasionally you will see some of them make a special appearance down the line. That was the case again this week, as a group of Hall Of Famers and legends made surprise appearances.

This week’s SmackDown marked the show’s return to the USA Network after five years on FOX. There were multiple Hall Of Famers and legends in attendance, with Rob Van Dam, Booker T., Queen Sharmell, Vickie Guerrero and Michael Hayes all being shown on camera. In addition, Monday Night Raw stars Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus were all shown on the broadcast.

Opinion: This is one of the places where WWE shines and they seem to know it. Having these names show up give the fans a bit of nostalgia and that is exactly the idea. It took all of a minute combined to show all of these people and the moments were cool enough. That’s all I needed from something like this and the company can put on this kind of moment any time they like.
