That’s a new way. Stables are among the most commonly used concepts in WWE and it makes sense. Having a group of wrestlers who can get together for one reason or another can open up a variety of doors for them. Most stables tend to have a leader, but that spot can shift from time to time. It seems that we have seen that again this week with one of the biggest stables in WWE history.

The closing segment of this week’s SmackDown saw Solo Sikoa announce the he was the new Tribal Chief of the Bloodline, replacing Roman Reigns. Sikoa blamed Reigns for losing the team’s WWE Champion to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 He promised to win the title from Rhodes, saying that Reigns can come take the title from him. There is no word on when Reigns is expected to return to the ring.

Opinion: This is the kind of step that could open a lot of doors for the team, as well as Reigns whenever he comes back. You do not see that kind of change take place very often and I’m curious to see where it goes. If nothing else, the reaction when Reigns returns is going to be absolutely huge. The pieces have been put in place to make this work and now WWE needs to pull everything off.
