Watch: Kurt Angle’s First WWE Appearance Since HOF Announcement

He’s back, it’s true. A few months ago, Kurt Angle was announced as the headliner of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017. This would be Angle’s first WWE appearance in over ten years and it meant that Angle would be back for at least one night. It also meant that fans would get to hear from him again, which is what has happened now.

WWE has put up a preview of a full interview with Angle which is scheduled to air on the WWE Network at some point in the future. For now though, we get to hear about Angle getting the call about the Hall of Fame as well as his first meeting with Vince McMahon since leaving the company back in 2006.

Opinion: As much as I liked Angle’s TNA run, it feels good to see Angle back where he belongs. He got his start in WWE and despite being in TNA longer than he was in WWE, I always saw him as a WWE guy in foreign territory. I’m looking forward to seeing the full interview as well as his Hall of Fame induction speech. Angle is one of the biggest stars of all time and deserves a spotlight like this.
