WATCH: Injured WWE Superstar Makes Return To Continue Feud

Welcome back. There are certain ways to bring a wrestler back to television that can have quite the impact. If someone has been away from television following an attack, it can be a big deal when they make an appearance and get some quick revenge. That can cause quite the emotional reaction and we saw that take place this week when a surprise return took place during a match.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Johnny Gargano faced Giovanni Vinci in the next match in the rivalry between DIY and Imperium. Late in the match, Ludwig Kaiser attempted to interfere but Gargano’s partner Tommaso Ciampa returned and helped Gargano pick up the win. This was Ciampa’s first appearance since Imperium attacked DIY and injured Ciampa in the process earlier this month.

Opinion: It’s good to have Ciampa back as DIY needs to be able to put something together as a team. They had a great reunion when Gargano returned a few weeks ago but they have yet to have that big match, and of course big win, together on the main roster. That is something that is going to have to come sooner or later and it seems like the stage has been set for it to take place.
